Allergens

The legislation for allergen labelling requires that the presence of any of the 14 major allergens is clearly displayed on the ingredients section of the packaging. Often this is in bold or CAPITALS. The allergens are - cereals containing gluten,

crustaceans, molluscs, eggs, fish, peanuts, nuts, soybeans, milk, celery, mustard, sesame, lupin and sulphur dioxide at levels above 10mg/kg, or 10 mg/litre, expressed as SO2.

These allergens must be displayed on the product. When we label foods which we have weighed and packaged for your order.

we keep information as up-to-date as possible, using the details provided by our suppliers and manufacturers. Please double-check the ingredients listings on the ACTUAL product when you receive it, if you feel it is not suitable or that warnings or ingredients are inaccurate, please let us know immediately.

Your order is packed with cross-contamination procedures in place, using clean scoops and containers for each product. However the ‘buy loose’ ethos of many of our items means that we cannot absolutely guarantee that it will not have been exposed to allergens in our own, or the previous premises involved in growing, producing, packaging or transporting the goods.

If you require further information about the source or the contents of any of our products please contact us.
