Welcome to our Community Coffee Room

OPEN most Mondays  during shop hours,  from  January 12th 2026

This is a quiet space where you can come for a good pot of tea, barista style coffee from our new Sage machine and CAKE.

We are not a hot food / sandwich cafe so our prices reflect that our 'menu' is limited. We can make a great pot of tea, including herbal and a range of coffees. We have oat and soy milk as well as cow, and we try to have a vegan and /or gluten free cake choice each week as well.

This space is open to all, and particularly if you want to escape your own 4 walls and come and have a blether and coffee around friendly faces. Or you can just enjoy some peace and quiet to read a book or paper. 

You are welcome to use our wi-fi while you are here.

If you are in a hurry and would rather take-out we have compostable cups or we can fill your own if you prefer.

If you wish you can take a token from our Pay It Forward tree to cover the cost of your drink and cake and just bring it to the till when you leave.

At present this room is open to all on Mondays only - but in reality we will make you a drink and have a chat any other time that the shop is open and we are not too busy to put the kettle on.
