We have expanded and we are now ready to welcome you into our Community Space. Its been a long time coming to fruition as the seeds of this idea were sown right back with our original vision for a A Longer Table, which we had to revise when we first opened due to the Covid restrictions. But we are patient .. and to everything there is a season.

This space, formerly the Beech Tree therapy room at 8 High Street, was originally the Lounge of the old Ogilvy Hotel.  We have heard local folk tell tales of happy hours, meeting up with friends and partners to be in this space .. so we thought it should have it's name returned to it.  We look forward to hearing more tales from those who remember being in here in the past!

Now available to book as a Community Space. What would you like to use it for?

We think it would be perfect for individuals or small groups to use for meetings, shared hobbies, crafts, one off workshops or a series of classes.  Perhaps a therapy space or somewhere for a professional to hold a private consultation. Daytime or evenings.

We are also thinking pop -up sales space, or even a safe quiet space to read, or chat or simply be still. The possibilities are infinite.

The Lounge has its own entrance door  and access to our toilet and /or small kitchen to make a hot drink. Or we can provide barista coffees or a selection of teas from our machine within the shop.

Cost is minimum £10 - based on £5 per hour on a sliding scale ..reducing incrementally the more hours or days that you book. Prices include winter heating and use of WI-FI
